Phase 2: Project Delivery and Regular Reporting
Get started and begin recieving funds.
Project Catalyst has a Monthly Reporting requirement. It is a process that helps project teams track and communicate the progress of their projects on a regular basis.
Typically, a project report is created at the end of each month and includes information on the project's status, accomplishments, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
The report is made public in order to be transparent about how funds are spent and how work is progressing on specific projects.
Monthly reports
Each month between 1st and 20th you'll need to prepare and send in report.
The report should summarise progress and any data collected over the month, such as progress towards specific milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
The report can also include any risks or issues that have arisen and any mitigation plans that have been put in place to address them.
Overall, Project Catalyst Monthly Reporting aims to give a clear and honest picture of the project's progress and information about what needs to be fixed or changed. Reports are submitted through this form.
Other Reports
Projects which requested over USD $75k are required to provide two other reports too. A Statement of Milestones (SOM) and Proof of Achievement (POA) at the end of each milestone.
Statement of Milestones
A Statement of Milestones (SOM) helps ensure that the project is well-planned, can be done, and meets the expectations of the Cardano community. It does this by giving a clear plan for developing the project. It also provides a basis for evaluating the success of the project.
It is a useful document for you and the rest of the Project Catalyst community.
Usually, a Statement of Milestones includes a list of the most important tasks or deliverables, a deadline for each task or deliverable, and metrics or performance indicators.
Proof of Achievement
At the end of each milestone a Proof of Achievement (POA) report is required.
This Proof of Achievement details the project teams activities and includes evidence that the expectations set in that milestone have been reached, metrics or performance indicators are on track and if deliverables are delivered!
The artefacts you include as evidence of your deliverables might include things like;
• Video of walk-through of your application
• Video of your event or interviews
• Code repository
• Design files
You will also prepare a written component and a video, including a slideshow presentation. These will be publicly available to the Cardano community.
